About John Mohnasky

As the Assistant Director of Development at Mount Vernon Nazarene University, I manage the university's fundraising database, Raiser's Edge NXT, which includes donors, alumni, parents, faculty/staff, and students. I lead the Development Department's reporting, email, and mailing list-creation efforts out of Raiser's Edge and oversee the Gift Entry Operator and multiple student workers. I am familiar with Colleague, MailChimp, Wealth Engine, FreeWill, Double the Donation, Acceptiva, and Lexis Nexis software. I manage the university's endowed scholarship process from the endowment donor paperwork to student application to stewardship thank yous. Because I love sports, my side job is running the university's Intramural Program for the Student Life Office. I oversee a Student Intramural Coordinator and multiple student workers. I am completing a Master of Science in Organizational Management and have recently obtained the Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT Professional Certification.
