I am a Contract Manager with over 24 years of experience specializing in the installation of sprinkler systems within the construction industry. I have successfully overseen various projects, including some of the largest warehouse and distribution centre installations in the UK, managing the deployment of systems with capacities ranging to over sprinklers. My primary responsibility is for overseeing the installation of fire sprinkler systems. This involves: Project Management: Am capable of Leading and managing multiple fire sprinkler system projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Engineering Expertise: I have a strong understanding of fire protection systems, EN 12845, BS 9251, LPC, FM Global and NFPA. Design: I collaborate with the design team to review and approve fire sprinkler system designs, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. Planning: I create comprehensive project programmes, realistic timelines, and carefully calculated budgets. Coordinating with advisers' range of stakeholders, from clients and suppliers to installation crews, to ensure that everyone is aligned with the project’s goals. Client Relations: I serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships, addressing concerns, and providing regular project updates. Team Leadership: Leading diverse of teams comprising of designers, engineers, technicians, and installation crews. My strong leadership skills ensure everyone is working toward a common objective, adhering to the project timeline, and complying with safety protocols. Quality Management: Review and inspect on-site installations completing qualtiy assurance documentation through the main stages of the project. Cost Management: Work in tandem with Project QS to ensure projects are delivered on target whilst reviewing CTC information and forecasting Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all projects adhere to safety standards, building codes, and fire protection regulations. Problem Solving: I am a creative problem solver, who is able to think on feet and develop effective solutions promptly. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, schedules, change orders, and progress reports. Site Inspection: Regular site inspections to ensure a successful installation. These inspections verify that the installations align with the planned designs and adhere to safety standards.
