About John Morelli

With over 15 years of experience in healthcare management, I am the System Vice President of Acute Care Clinical Service Line at CommonSpirit Health, one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the nation. In this role, I oversee the strategic direction, operational performance, and clinical quality of the Hospital Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Critical Care service lines at more than 100 acute care hospitals across 21 states, serving diverse and underserved communities. Previously, I was the Vice President of Hospital Medicine at Dignity Health, where I managed the integration and quality improvement of the hospital medicine service line for 40 hospitals. I also served as the Assistant Dean of Clinical Medicine at California Northstate University College of Medicine, where I assisted in accreditation and integration of the clinical medicine program. My core competencies include healthcare management, healthcare, leadership, strategic planning, and quality improvement. I am passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered, and culturally responsive care to all populations, and leveraging data and technology to enhance healthcare delivery and access. I am excited to join a team that shares my vision and values, and that can benefit from my diverse and extensive experience in the healthcare field.
