About John Morrow

After graduating from Oregon State University with a Bachelors of Science in Public Health (option Health Management and Policy), I completed an internship at Oregon Health and Science University in the Department of Quality Management. In 2015 I was commissioned into the United States Air Force as a Medical Service Corps Officer. My first duty station was Columbus AFB, where I was the Systems (IM/IT) Flight Commander until 2016, and the Tricare Operations and Patient Administration Flight Commander until 2018. I also helped develop and implement the Lean Daily Management and Continuous Process Improvement programs for the clinic. I completed a one year short-tour at Incirlik Air Base in 2019 after working in Resource Management and Medical Readiness (emergency management), where I also continued to run Process Improvement. My last assignment was Group Practice Management at Randolph AFB in San Antonio, Texas. In my current role as Strategy Integration Partner at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, my portfolio consists of formal Project Management, Process Improvement through the GROSS program (Getting Rid of Senseless Stuff), and Financial Stewardship. Our department fosters thought-partnerships with departments throughout the hospital to help bridge the gap between strategic goals and operations.
