I am a fully qualified time served Mechanical Commissioning Technician with 30 years of experience within the maintenance, commissioning and construction of Oil & Gas Installations in both the offshore & onshore sectors, and also top tier COMAH registered Petrochemical sites. Ideally I am looking for work within a similar background but I am willing to adapt to any environment in which my skills & experience would suit. I also have experience in supervisory, planning & mentoring roles. I am able to work under my own initiative as well as part of a team. In my supervisory role I was responsible for a core team of 4 Mechanical technicians, 3 Instrument technicians, 2 Electrical technicians and as required various other Contracting vendors & services. This included dealing with day to day resolution of plant maintenance, emergency breakdowns and Task Packages and prioritising resources accordingly. I was also responsible for maintenance planning activities on a day to day basis inclusive of plant shutdowns requiring detailed organisation for up to 10 contract mechanical technicians.
