Background

About John Myhre

I am part of Myhre Holdings Inc, a holding company related to commercial real estate with properties in Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Utah and Idaho. Past responsibilities included all aspects of managing new development for new campus locations; including site selection and acquisition, design and engineering, contractor selection, municipal and other government approvals and involvement with the financing of projects. I was involved from project initiation through occupancy at all locations. I enjoy all details related to real estate development. I have great working relationships and strategies with land owners, brokers, designers, engineers, municipality decision makers, contractors, law firms and lending institutions. Working with everyone as an entire team is a great sense of accomplishment. I am also involved in the family ownership of entities within education. We operate Minnesota School of Business, Globe University, Minnesota School of Cosmetology, Institute of Production and Recording, Broadview University and Benchmark Learning. My involvement includes business aspects such as strategic and annual planning, legality, financing and cash flow management, budgeting, employee satisfaction and client/student/company awareness.
