About John Nauta

John Nauta: Electrical Sign Design Innovator John began his career in the sign industry over 25 years ago. Early on, he was fortunate to quickly master CorelDRAW and develop a deep understanding of sign fabrication and installation methods. This foundation enabled him to progress rapidly, advancing from production designer to Design Director. Despite his team's extensive experience in creating section install details, he noticed they were spending significant time each month searching for files and modifying wall types, connection methods, and sign types. This inefficiency inspired him to create SignageDetails.com. In 2021, John founded Signage Details, the first and only online subscription service offering digital downloads to section details illustrating how to fabricate and install commercial signs, becoming the ultimate resource hub for sign designers worldwide. Signage Details' patent-pending intuitive Select-A-Sign tool enables users to design comprehensive section details for fabricating and installing commercial signs, which can be integrated into their plans in as little as 60 seconds, regardless of the design program they use.
