About John Nava

I love solving problems. I love knowing how things work. I always try and find common ground with every person I meet to build a relationship. I love learning and I’m passionate about teaching others. I analyze every decision Professionally, I started in a very humble way. No one wanted to hire me because I didn’t have experience. I finally had enough one day and asked the IT Director who was interviewing me, “can I work for free to get experience?” I was called a month or so later to intern for free where I was shadowing for 3 months. I was then offered a full time position as the IT Technician for the City of Alamo where I oversaw all devices citywide. My A+, Network+ and Security+ certifications helped me accomplish every task that was assigned to me. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity that City of Alamo gave me and the 2 years I spent learning. Staying humble allowed me to change the course of my life. Currently, I am an IT Specialist as a Federal Contractor. Personally- I Love giving back to my community! I served as a Volunteer Firefighter for 3+ years with the City of Pharr, Volunteer Coach Boys Soccer, Youth Leader and acoustic guitarist for LTVC Worship. I love all things outdoors and must have my pour over coffee every morning!
