Detailed facilities manager with a vast experience in long-range planning and budgeting for building repairs and maintenance of large educational institutions. Developed a five-year, 5.5 million dollar annual Capital Renewal Plan for Iowa State University that will responsibly schedule repairs and/or replace critical building systems prior to failure. This plan will systematically re-invest in the infrastructure of the Universities facilities and keep them operating effectively and efficiently. At North Scott Community School District I planned and directed over 47-million dollars worth of facility maintenance, repairs, improvements, renovations and new construction in a K-12 educational system. In this responsibility I have served as the Owner's Representative and lead person beginning with project conceptualization, development, specification review, bidding and all project management through completion. To move these projects forward, it required a very collaborative style of leadership to gain staff, administrative and public support for these works; ultimately leading school board approval. In this responsibility, I served as the lead planner and executor of the work, by monitoring all project progress, RFI's, change orders, pay applications and all project closeout documentation. In addition to these responsibilities, I have also grew-in and developed two tournament caliber championship golf course facilities that had received multiple recognition's for environmental leadership and three nationally award winning High School athletic fields. My strong agronomic and facilities background have provide me with the skills and experience to be a complete Director of Facilities were a high level of attention to detail is a required.
