I am a highly experienced dairy farm manager, scientist and extension officer. I have managed grazing dairies in New Zealand, Australia and the USA and a confinement dairy in Canada. I have been a scientist in New Zealand and in West Africa, where I oversaw research projects in Nigeria, Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger. My extension experience has been in Thailand and more recently in India where I oversaw an extension team of 500 staff covering 5 states in south India for one of the largest privately owned dairy companies in India. I have a proven record of running large farms efficiently and assisting small farmers to make dairy production the most profitable of their agricultural enterprises using the forage based production systems and the latest digital technology.
