About John Oconnor

Starting in the Pharmaceutical Industry in 2004 as a Tablet press operator, I have outstanding experience in the production environment with 8 years in the area. Whilst working I'm production I completed my level 7 bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Formulations. Whilst holding this position I attained my Yellow Belt and was involved in the lean project. In 2012 I successfully applied for QA analyst position at Takeda. I performed batch review, deviation management and internal audits. I fulfilled this position until 2015 where I moved to Servier (Ireland) Industries. At Servier from 2015 to 2018 I held the position of QA Analyst where I performed batch review, managed deviations and customer complaints. I managed the customer complaint rota and carried out internal audits. In 2018 I was promoted to QA Compliance Specialist. I possess outstanding personal skills and provide GMP training (Day 1, Induction, Annual Refresher). I am a certified Lead Auditor and have conducted Internal as well as external audits of suppliers. I manage the customer complaints and the complaint rota and facilitate the the Serialisation number upload using Tracelink for market alerts. I identify customer complaint trends and facilitate RCPS sessions with cross departmental members.
