Director - Operations– Legal Order Processing (9/07-2/09) Responsible for the management of the Liens, Levies, and Garnishment Department that handles over legal orders issued against Wachovia customers per month. Manage staff of 27, including Managers, Workflow Coordinators, Associates, and Call Center Team. Oversee all HR policies for department. Responsible for all training and individual development of all staff. Act in the role of Reconcilement Manager for department ensuring all department financial General Ledger accounts balance on a daily and monthly basis. Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly budget forecasting for department that requires a maximum +/- 1% variance allowance. Performed quarterly Financial Attestations and Audit Control testing to ensure compliance with corporate standards. Responsible for all department reporting, including work volumes, individual performance standards, operating efficiency, loss reduction, and unit cost. Partnered with IT and external vendors to successfully implement new operating system for department that made many manual processes able to take place in an automated environment. Partner daily with Wachovia's Legal Division and Loss Management to mitigate loss to the bank and to seek collection efforts when necessary. Manager – Retail Financial Center( June 2002 – August 2007). Lead the Financial Center team in all functions in regards to operations, service, sales, budgets, forecasting, and revenue growth. Responsible for all HR issues for Financial Center. Partner with all lines of business that affect the Retail bank such as Market Leaders, Small Business Bankers, and Financial Advisors. Managed the growth and retention of 100 million dollar book of business. Acted as backup to the Regional Manager when needed. Successfully mentored multiple New Hire Financial Center Managers.
