John Offord, MA, is a highly skilled Neurodiversity consultant, as well as a multifaceted freelance content producer and broadcast journalist with extensive experience in TV production, event management, radio production, and media training. With over 25 years of expertise in the creative broadcast sector, he brings a wealth of knowledge and versatility to every project. John also makes documentaries for BBC World Service Radio and BBC Radio 4. The project is designed to amplify unheard voices and empower communities through storytelling, investigative workshops, and collaborative journalism. By working closely with local people and grassroots organisations, the StoryHub aims to surface vital local issues, challenge power, and create opportunities for residents to shape the narratives that affect their lives. John's passionate about reshaping the way we work. Exploring the intersection of cultural differences and Western working practices, John highlighted the need for a fundamental shift towards a more inclusive workforce when he graduated from his part time Masters in 2023. As part of this journey, he's been actively contributing to the conversation on neurodiversity. John recently produced "The Truth about Tourette’s" for BBC Radio 4, shedding light on important narratives.
