I was a union actor, journalist, and editor with over 35 years of staff and freelance experience, and the author of several plays, film scripts, and short stories prior to returning to school and becoming certified as a paralegal. This transition was the rejuvenation of a long-held interest in the law, and has led to a new career in which my communication skills (thank you, Screen Actors Guild!) and discernment as a writer (thank you, merciless early editors who cracked the whip!) have been put to renewed good use. At present, I work in the marketing department for a renowned complex litigation firm, and look forward to the creative challenges that meet me each day.
