I frequently joke, “Some of us are thrust upon greatness, while others have greatness thrust upon us.” Many of my childhood friends would be surprised to find me building a career of service in the health and wellness industry: I was sedentary, overweight, sluggish, tired, depressed… Definitely NOT the star quarterback! And then one day, I signed up for a high school weight training class, and never looked back. While attaining my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of California, at Irvine, I became certified as a fitness specialist—one of the original, pioneering certification programs for personal trainers sponsored by the American College of Sports Medicine—and began training clients. I knew I wanted to help people live quality lives, but I hadn’t found my ‘nitch;’ psychology wasn’t it; personal training wasn’t it. But a shoulder injury changed all that. After 6 months of medical doctors and physical therapists working on my shoulder with no demonstrable results, I turned to a Chiropractor for help. Six weeks later, I was back up to full speed. He saved me! I knew what I wanted to do! I graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in May of 1998, and developed the Chiropractic Family Wellness of Green Valley in May of I've been told-REPEATEDLY-that If I am not growing, then I am dying. So, I began personal effectiveness training in 2004, became certified as a life coach in 2007 and began interning as a facilitator/trainer. This year, we began creating our first franchise, and plan to open at least one new office per year, nationwide. I want to help as many people as I can, and I am just one guy! Currently, When I am not in the office seeing patients, I tour the Vegas Valley speaking on a wide array of topics with a very simple underlying message: how we think, eat, and move defines the quality of our lives. We are designed to be happy, healthy, and well-functioning. Specialties: I am well-versed in all things wellness. I have a strong background in exercise, nutrition, Chiropractic, Neuro-muscular re-education (getting your body balanced, coordinated and well-funtioning), Physical rehabilitation, supplementation, prevention.
