About John Osei

I am a highly motivated and results-oriented professional with a strong background in development finance, business analysis, communications, and digital media management. With a Master's degree in Development Finance from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Ashesi University, I have a solid foundation in finance, economics, and business principles. At the African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET), I currently work as a Digital Media Coordinator, responsible for promoting and managing ACET's online presence. I develop and implement digital media strategies, analyze data analytics, and enhance ACET's online visibility and engagement. Previously, as a Communications Officer at ACET, I contributed to research papers, blogs, and articles, effectively disseminating knowledge in economics and development. This experience equipped me with effective communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences. In my previous roles, including General Manager and Co-Founder of Barak Capital Credit Union and Faculty Intern at Ashesi University, I developed strong financial management, leadership, and interpersonal skills. These experiences provided me with a deep understanding of financial systems and the ability to facilitate learning and knowledge dissemination. Passionate about driving positive change, I actively engage in leadership and social initiatives. As the Head of Administration and Finance for the Economic Fighters League, I mobilize a grassroots movement of activists and lead fundraising activities to ensure sustainability. Through the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Public Policy Track, I enhanced my leadership and policy-making skills. With strong research and analytical skills, I have contributed to published articles in reputable publications, discussing pressing issues in finance and economics. As the Project Lead for the Nunya Project, I demonstrated my project management expertise by securing funding, assigning roles, and achieving successful outcomes.
