Astute Policy, Advocacy, Research, and Evidenced based advocate and Champion. Hands-on Experience spanning to 14 years in development and humanitarian Context in Horn and East Africa. These includes fragile and conflict-affected contexts work experience while bridging the gaps between policy advocacy, influence, program delivery, research, and decision-making to promote positive change and life saving response in Sub Saharan Africa. I am member of Global Steering group for Scaling Up Nutrition Civil Society steering Network, as well as East and South Africa SUN Civil Society Network. Active member of GIMAC(Gender is My Agenda Coalition), ESAR RCCE TWG, ECSAH, REDDs, Horn and East Africa Inter Agency Advocacy Working Group(IAAWG), PACJAH, Nutrition Cluster and Global Nutrition report technical review committee Member. Throughout the experience of over Thirteen (14) years, I have gained impeccable skills in -Hands-on experience in Communication and Advocacy packs development, social /resource mobilization through networking and partnership with stakeholders and donors -Hands on Experience in building partnerships, establishing collaborations for resource mobilization and Advocacy ( I have worked closely with FCDO, ECHO Altahni Foundation, Global Affairs Canada, EDG, USAID, SIDA, UN-OCHA GFFO-German Foreign Federal office and the Dutch Embassy)-Hands on experience in Humanitarian and development program management in Nutrition and Gender integration, social protection women empowerment analysis. Exquisite knowledge and hands on experience in Proposal/Concept writing, Program design, development, planning and implementation-Good knowledge and application experience in creative writing, Success story and developing communication Strategy and Advocacy briefs on Climate Change, Food and Nutrition Security. Trainer of Trainees (TOT) on Budget Analysis Tracking for Advocacy for Regional National and Sub National budgets- Experience in Project Management for Development for Arid and Semi-Arid lands, Adolescents Health and Nutrition in climate and Conflict Emergency- Trainer of trainees on tools for public policy, research and analysis working closely on climate policy and adaptations.
