About John Outhred

Following 17 years in executive management positions in government, I founded Outhred English Urban & Regional Planners - a boutique Adelaide-based planning and property consultancy. As Principal Planner at Outhred English, I provide private, government and corporate clients with advisory services in Urban and Regional Planning Services (statutory and strategic planning, policy development, preparation of development applications, expert witness statements for the ERD Court, structure and master planning, as well as community consultation and liaison) and Property Development Consultancy Services (site analysis and selection, land division advice and design, project scoping and feasibility, project management and population catchment analysis). In addition to tertiary qualifications, I have been a Corporate Member of the Planning Institute Australia since 1992 and am a Certified Practising Planner. If happiness can be defined as being paid to do what you truly love - then I would surely be the happiest person you will meet. Further, and on an even more personal level, my hobbies include demographics, maps, trains and Australian and American history.and my five delightful and highly amusing young grandchildren.
