About John Paul Carson

A current intern in the Disney College Program, I am a forward-thinking Mechanical Engineering student in the Honors Program at The Ohio State University pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree with double minors in Entertainment Design and Technology and Business. I am skilled in SolidWorks, Rhino, MATLAB, and MS Office applications with experience in concept design, 3-D modeling and simulation, 3-D printing, technical drawing and drafting, AutoCAD, reviewing plans, researching solutions, presentation preparation, public speaking, and problem solving. I have a willingness to learn, follow instructions and work cooperatively within team environments. I have developed leadership, interpersonal, and technical skills through academic coursework at the Ohio State University, self-study classes and tutorials, autonomous exploration, and practical experience through activities and projects as Vice President of the Ohio State University Disney Club and member of the OSU Theme Park Engineering Group.
