Senior Manager and Executive Senior manager 1991 and 2002, executive 2003 until 2008 as an executive experiencing leadership in a number of self-initiated and project-based continuous improvement and change management programs. Achieved outstanding outcomes through ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and face challenges effectively and at the same time fulfil the needs of team members and the organisation. Abilities at these management levels are well complemented by a range of relative academic qualifications. Investigator Through 33½ years service with the South Australia Police (SAPOL) I established myself as the consummate professional criminal investigator. This was recognised, in part, through repeated selection to represent the State’s critical public safety investigation needs at operative and senior management levels, including: Major Crime Squad; Anti-Corruption Branch; Internal Investigation Branch; and, Criminal Investigation Branch(es). Lead and managed complex investigations into diverse matters, including: homicide; child-abuse; arson; armed-robbery; rape; fraud; corruption; equal opportunity; workplace injury and code of conduct issues pertaining to public sector employees. In addition, I have overseen and reported on several Commissioner’s Enquiries involving death or serious injury by police to others. My thoroughness and integrity have been frequently tested at criminal courts in every mainland Australian state. My commitment to excellence along with my skills, knowledge and aptitude have been rewarded in many other aspects throughout my career including: duxing SAPOL’s Detective Pre-entry and Detective Designation courses; and, leading the state-wide training of SAPOL’s criminal investigators.
