About John Pile

From a young age I’ve always loved content beaming in from any kind of screen, whether it was on television or in the cinema or even my favorite video game. These days most content can be accessed via apps with the internet allowing the art of story telling to expand globally in ways unimaginable. Having started as the lone video encoder on a small team here, I’ve utilized my education in post-production film school and background in customer service to propel myself and those on my video team to be the vanguard of our group’s marketing efforts which perfectly coincides with the rapid rise of digital media and online streaming content. As a manager in the Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Marketing’s Digital Media division, I oversee the day to day aspects of our fantastic video team in terms of acquiring the various content, publishing it securely, and making sure there’s a quality control standard to it that both our marketing & sales executives, and our global broadcast clients can rely on as they market Warner Media’s wide array of TV & Film library content in their local territories and to their local tastes. So whether we’re talking classic TV episodes, promos, behind the scenes featurettes, movie trailers, pre-release content of the hottest upcoming HBO shows or that soon to be released WB tentpole feature film, there’s never a dull moment in the content that makes up the workday and that’s exactly how I prefer it.
