Senior Fraud Strategist @ Canadian Tire Financial Services My current role supports the credit card fraud department. Our primary objective is to reduce the gross fraud loss while maintaining a high level of service for our customers. Working in the fraud analytics field, my main objective is to assist in making the key decisions that impact the effectiveness of our fraud strategies. A graduate of the Actuarial & Financial Mathematics program at McMaster University I am a self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and a strong passion for using data to help answer compelling questions. In my career I have used multiple statistical programming languages to collect, manipulate, and derive insights from data. I also have extensive experience visualizing data in creative and concise ways with Tableau. Through experience presenting conclusions to external stakeholders, I have developed advanced oral and written communication skills and the ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience.
