About John Pomroy
The Children's Advocacy Center for Child Abuses Assessment and Treatment (CAC) was created from a need arising from the Project SISTER/Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center/Queen of the Valley Sex Assault Response Team. Recognizing there was a better way to care for victims of child physical and sexual abuse, we followed the National Children's Alliance standards to create the CAC. I was part of the team that created the PS/PVHMC/QOV SART and was part of the team that then started the CAC and have been a part of it ever since. For several years, I was the president of the board of directors, then served as the CEO/Executive Director of the agency, and (now retired) am once again a director on the board of directors. As a board member, I help guide the organization in its philosophy, programming, fund development and outreach. The CAC is a great organization that does a lot of good work for abused children, their families and the stakeholders who make up our Multi-Disciplinary Team. I am super happy to be part of this great organization.
