Experienced academic scientist with skills in both viral vectors and antiviral research. Previous experiences have included extensive design and production of lentivirus, spumavirus, adeno-associated virus, and adenovirus vectors to employ in a variety of contexts, such as intavitreal gene therapy, humanization of NSG mice, library analysis of capsid mutants. My work has also involved in the development of adenovirus vectors to utilize in vaccine applications against alphaviruses. Methods of evaluation included gross pathology, cytokine and chemokine profiling, neutralization assays, and serum passive transfer experiments. My current research examines the virology of coronaviruses including pathogenesis and immunogenicity, and viral genetics.
