PMO LEADER|GLOBAL PROGRAM & PROJECT MANAGEMENT|LEAN SIX SIGMA I am a Global Program Manager who first learned adaptive leadership at the age of 19 when I found myself in a role that I did not expect - running my father’s small manufacturing company. During an economic downturn, when my father took on a second job to supplement the family’s income, I stepped in to run his business. Young, green and lean. That two-year “tour of duty” forged my ability to learn rapidly, re-prioritize constantly and pivot when necessary, long before I ever heard of Agile or Lean Six Sigma. Cash-strapped, I had to quickly develop the cross-functional leadership and negotiating skills to keep valued employees on the shop floor and essential suppliers, creditors and clients on board. In time, the business stabilized. And, when the right buyer came along, I led the transition and integration into the new owner’s process. The agility, empathy and resilience developed early in my career has proven instrumental in engaging highly skilled, global teams and delivering value in ever-changing business environments. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: • Co-led the establishment of an operating model for a complex, sophisticated Program Management Office. • Drove execution on stalled Information Security program with realignment to changing priorities and organizational leadership. • Delivered a Revenue Recognition program for client invoicing for over 50 client teams, in compliance with GAAP and SOX. • Deployed a networked digital print solution to 2 campuses for a Fortune 500 company.
