About John Prince

17+ years experience working with Fortune companies under the Information Security umbrella I’ve been a security analyst / Symantec support technician for Symantec Endpoint Protection, Symantec Endpoint Security, and Symantec Protection Engine for the last 17 years with Symantec. I have been an assigned Technical Account Manager to support fortune 100 companies for the last 15 years where I was the sole intake of any issues for any questions related to our product, company, as well as CVEs and 0-day threats. I handled daily technical issues for products, provided feedback for the team for any security response issues, managed the top accounts politically and technically, provided proactive services, etc. I also support other Technical Account Managers (colleagues) in the security response field for their clients as I have been a Security Response Liaison over the last 5 years supporting them. As a Liaison I provided detailed security response steps and/or detection information where appropriate, to support our colleagues on resolving issues related to threats or vulnerabilities. I’ve been a team lead for about 12 years. I train colleagues. Document. Mentor new hires. Project lead. Whatever the job needs done that I can do. I have an incredible drive to be the best that I can be and to elevate those around me, I take pride in continued growth professionally and personally to ensure I am in a position to assist and motivate everyone I come in contact with.
