I’m a retired Air Force Officer with 20+ years of leadership, operations, and staff experience at the intersection of autonomous systems, AI, and national security.What I’ve Done:• Spent a year as a Military Fellow at Amazon Prime Air, supporting drone test & evaluation and completing their internal Machine Learning University program.• Led autonomous systems operations across multiple leadership roles for 10 years, driving both technical capability and mission outcomes.• Most recently, founded and served as Director of the Department of the Air Force–MIT Artificial Intelligence Accelerator, where I advised senior leadership on AI policy, developed workforce training programs for the Department of War (formerly DoD), and managed a $75M AI research portfolio focused on national security mission sets.What I Do Now:At MIT Open Learning, I build and manage relationships with the Federal Government, shaping public sector AI and technology education. I also speak globally on AI & National Security, drone systems, and workforce development in AI.What I Care About:AI that is ethical, capable, and accessible. Expanding opportunity for underserved communities through tech education.
