About John Randall

Early in my career, I learned that success is all about people. Having held leadership roles at Hitachi Global Air Power in both China and the United States, and now at Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems in Japan, one of the most rewarding aspects of my work is getting to know employees around the world. Every day, our teams develop innovative industrial products, services and solutions that integrate digital technology to drive customer success and contribute to a more sustainable society. Our solutions — including compressed air systems, grid edge solutions, drives, coding and marking equipment and more — support critical industries such as data centers, batteries, electronics, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals and more. I always ask my team to put the customer at the center of everything we do, ensuring we support them throughout the entire product lifecycle, from maintenance to recycling. Over the past several years, I have led cross-functional global teams in multi-million-dollar manufacturing and product development projects, from launching new manufacturing facilities to implementing Lean strategies. What I enjoy most is solving real-world challenges in complex environments and motivating teams to think creatively.
