About John Raymond Lim

I'm John, a translator of Japanese media with over 10 years of experience, specializing in narrative video games, manga, and novels. Working in both solo and team capacities as both member and localization head, I have completed dozens of projects with totalling several million characters. Over the course of my career, I have also handled translation of various documents, websites, and other related content. Additional responsibilities have also included publisher-developer liaison work, helping to bridge businesses with clients. I also possess a great deal of knowledge in the burgeoning Virtual Youtuber industry and have worked a short stint as a video editor in helping create viral content, as well as serving as an informal advisor for other independent groups and creators. Apart from work, I have a deep passion in fountain pens and film photography. I serve as one of the only active nibmeisters in the ASEAN region, adjusting and repairing fountain pens, and also do portrait and landscape photographer as a hobby.
