Founder and director of medical diagnostics biotech company J R Biomedical Ltd in North Wales, leading the research, development and manufacture of clinical diagnostics, and collaboration with academia. PhD in Allergy (University of London), member of the British Society for Allergy & Clinical Immunology (BSACI), British Society for Immunology (BSI), and Eurostars Technical Expert (Eureka). In December 2024 my company completed the development of a new rapid sepsis and inflammatory biomarker test that detects human soluble Toll-like receptor 2 (sTLR2), available for clinical and research use. Our product pipeline includes the development of further rapid tests for monitoring chronic disease at home, and basic research into innovative diagnostic technology.
