About John Renier

From Elmhurst, Illinois I traveled down to Bloomington, Indiana where I am a current student at the Kelley School of Business. I am studying Finance and Accounting with ambitions to enter the personal financial management field. I am confident in my ability to overcome any challenges presented by an employer thanks to my leadership abilities, communication skills, and decisiveness. My experience in the restaurant industry threw me into a high stress environment where I was required to communicate with coworkers while actively performing my duties with intention. Through this I was able to build upon my communicative and decision-making skills as quick but thought-out choices were required to consistently be made. During Highschool, I grew my experience of being a leader through being a player-elected captain of the varsity football team. Additionally, throughout the off seasons I organized multiple groups of peers containing all age groups and spearheaded the completion of many community service activities throughout our off seasons.
