About John Roetering
While studying Geographic Information Systems, and Computer Science at The University of Wisconsin - River Falls, I worked at the State and Local levels of government within the GIS field. I was able to expose myself to project management experience, where I was able to lead on several projects during my temporary roles. I was also working as an Endpoint Technician on-campus at the UWRF Division of Technology Services. This excelled my customer support and troubleshooting skills that I have been developing since my early work experience. I am now back at The University of Wisconsin - River Falls working as a IT Business Analyst in the University Center, supporting our Dining Services Program, and Administrating our Mazevo (Event Management Software) Deployment. I plan to keep myself up to date in the world of GIS as I go forward, as well as developing my own Business and Data Analytics skills. This will allow me to bring a unique background and set of skills to work every morning.
