I've worked in a variety of environments, including CEO, CFO, Chief Underwriting Officer, and Chief Risk Officer roles at private-sector and state-backed (Florida Citizens) property insurers, MGAs, top-tier global consulting firms, and catastrophe modeling technology firms. Along the way, I've been responsible for teams of up to 125 staff, served on the Board of Florida Citizens, published several prize-winning papers, written numerous op-eds and educational articles, and testified to Congress and several state legislatures. It all started with becoming an actuary after my mathematics and economics degrees.
