John Runyan has retired as President of Runyan Public Affairs (RPA), an independent government relations consulting firm assisting clients with a full range of federal affairs services. John opened RPA in 2009 after a long career in the government relations profession. John is also Founding Partner of E Street Partners a public affairs consortium that combines lobbying, compliance, strategic communications and PAC management. Former clients include: Donnelley Financial Solutions and Rayonier, Inc. John is a co-founder of the Data Foundation. Prior to opening RPA, John managed the federal government relations team for International Paper, then a Fortune 100 global corporation. He also spent more than a decade with the Printing Industries of America, the nation's largest graphic arts trade association. John started his career in Washington on the staff of former US Senator Donald Stewart (D-AL).
