About John Rutherford

I'm a passionate health professional with qualifications in physiotherapy and ergonomics, now managing a national team of like-minded consultants. Having worked with organisations of all sizes in Australia, as well as abroad in the UK & Middle East, I've provided health & wellbeing solutions that meet the varying needs of these populations. What I'm most passionate about is delivering physical health & wellbeing initiatives on a large scale, using digital and tech innovations to facilitate this. What I don't like is health cliches, rigid checklists, and recycled bad advice that isn't actually evidence-based or useful. I find that most of my time is spent talking to our amazing clients all around Australia about how to manage the physical risk factors for their flexibly-working, diverse, geographically-spread remote-working employees. Solutions don't need to be complicated, but they do need to be more than just token efforts to tick a box, and proactive beats reactive every time!
