About John Saveca

I completed national Diploma, BTECH and Maters of Technology in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current). I have worked on 25KV AC locomotive switchgear repair and maintenance at Transnet Engineering from 2012 to 2013. I have workes on a New Multi-Product Pipeline (NMPP) construction under pipeline Cathodic Protection (CP) project since 2014 as a first line (CP) construction engineering technician. My responsibilities were to assure that all the CP activities are performed in accordance with NACE and Transnet Pipeline policies, the CP quality standards are met in accordance with NACE and Transnet Pipeline policy, health, safety and environment requirements are met, as well as scheduling all Cathodic Protection activities performed on site in order to meet the targeted time to complete the project and to meet the financial targets. I am currently working as an Engineering Technician at PRASA Rail since 2019. My current responsibilities are OHTE and Traction Substations maintenance and Project Management, as well as energy account management. I am looking for a new challenge where I would make a significant contribution which will consist of my time, knowledge and effort of bettering the company goal, which should eventually benefit the team and the company status in order to expand and be successful in what the organisation does.
