About John Schick

I have a decade of technology industry experience coupled with 15 years experience as a sales professional and c-level leadership roles. I started my career working for a family-owned business before starting my own. Always had an interest in business operations, prefacing my career with a business degree from York University in Administrative Studies. Ultimately, I was driven to co-found 1CS, a company dedicated to helping other companies succeed by capitalizing on business technology. My approach is not one size fits all. Beginning with a discovery of your existing IT environment, I develop a plan to bring the right business technology along with proven IT methodologies and best IT practices to your business summarized in a plan specifically designed for your business. Plans include IT help desk support, remote monitoring, maintenance and management of devices, data backup, security tools, password management, network and application subscriptions, secure documentation, productivity tools like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, a trusted IT consultant navigating your business through a complex world of technology and access to a range of IT specialists and subject matter experts. My objective is to create a clear turnkey solution for my clients to ensure efficiency, productivity and profits. As the owner of an Managed Service Provider (MSP), I work with SMBs across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and southern Ontario, collaborating with my clients to create a tailored plan for each company to achieve efficiency and effectiveness with information technology.
