Background

About John Schulke

For over two decades, I have dedicated myself to the intricate world of law enforcement and 13 years managing personnel. My role as Lieutenant and the Station Commander at the Buena Vista Station in the NJSP has been diverse, defined by a commitment to safeguarding public welfare across southern New Jersey. As a Station Commander, I navigated the complexities of law enforcement and ensured effective day-to-day operations of the personnel that I supervised. During my entire career, I have been goal-focused, result-oriented, and highly organized with all administrative duties that I have initiated or completed. My attention to detail is the result of my law enforcement and military training. I have enjoyed mentoring junior members of the NJSP with all endeavors and utilize this mentoring as another leadership tool to become a better leader with the people I supervise. I have excellent leadership, decision-making, and records management abilities. My roots in the U.S. Marine Corps and academic accolades, including a Bachelor of Arts degree in public administration, prove a steadfast singular mission: to serve and protect the citizens of Southern New Jersey.
