About John Scroggie

Following my completion of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics, I started work with Michelin Tyres as a Quality Technician for the Extrusion workshop. I proved myself through my results and through my professional relationships with others and was promoted to the position of RGTE (Quality Manager) for the Preparation Department. I completed the BSc (Hons) course in just three years, whereas it is usually done in four. I have worked in a variety of retail positions (to fund my way through university) ranging from stockroom assistant to retail supervisor with key holder responsibilities. I feel that I have proven myself to be a reliable and hardworking employee, as testament to this I was contacted by my previous retail employer offering me a fulltime position once I had finished university. I have excellent interpersonal skills, and can work comfortably with groups and enjoy meeting new people. I have no problem presenting to groups and I am comfortable speaking up, when I have something relevant to add. I really enjoy travelling to new places and have an interest in learning languages. Through Michelin I have achieved a good level of French, and I have a basic knowledge of German through self-study. I am open to travel both at home and abroad, and I am highly mobile.
