About John Selby

I am the retired co-founder of Stereo One, Inc, a midwest specialty audio/video & technology company operating in southeast Missouri, southern Illinois and southwest Missouri from 1980-2016. I launched Signature Systems in 2016 to provide performance enhancements for vintage, collector and modern stereo equipment. We design, engineer, and install in-house developed proprietary sound quality improvements based on 40+ years experience with high-end audio equipment & technical services. Our solutions range from 2 minute $30 enhancements to "Platinum Level" total redesign and installation of one-off custom packages. The term "signature" signifies the successful application of our proprietary methods by a Signature Systems Certified Technician (SSCT) and "signed off" by the technician verifying those methods were utilized in the project. Our customers are given a Certification indicating that their project was conducted to Signature Systems standards. I spend 1-2 days a week at the office. Otherwise, I am attempting to keep my vintage cars on the road, or pointing the RV down the highway with my wife Vivian, and our dog, Cooper. I have designed business software to manage Signature Systems while traveling, and can monitor projects while out of the office. Jason Woods is our lead technician and certified Signature Systems technician.
