20+ years analyzing business requirements and turning those requirements into software designs (discrete manufacturing - predominately aerospace and defense). Extensive experience designing, developing, and consulting on major enterprise-level manufacturing execution system (MES) implementations. 17+ years implementing, designing, developing and supporting multiple modules of what is now known as SAP CAMS (Complex Assembly Manufacturing Solutions). The CAMS suite of products includes a Bill of Material Management module (including support for the definition and/or automatic creation of the following: manufacturing BOMs, remanufacturing BOMs, as-received BOMs, as-built BOMs, as-maintained BOMs, and as-shipped BOMs), a Manufacturing Change Management module, a Computer-Aided Process Planning module (including First Article Inspection planning), a Shop Floor Management module - with a focus on traceability (includes data collection, order/operation confirmations, First Article Inspection execution, WIP Tracking), and a Non-Conformance Management module (including non-conformance disposition, corrective action, and preventative action). Involved in all aspects of software implementation including requirements analysis, gap analysis, design, development, risk analysis, business process re-engineering, testing, and training.
