About John Slattery

John Slattery is a clinical research leader and accomplished entrepreneur dedicated to advancing precision medicine for complex neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders.He has designed, executed, and directed multiple successful clinical trials focused on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), with a translational emphasis on biomarker-driven therapeutics. Through his collaboration with Arkansas Children’s Hospital, John helped lead the first positive double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial of Leucovorin Calcium, demonstrating statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvements in language and communication among children with ASD. This landmark study also identified biomarker signatures predictive of treatment response, helping define a new precision-medicine framework for autism care.In 2018, John co-founded BioROSA Technologies, where he continues to serve as President and CEO. Under his leadership, BioROSA raised more than $3.5 million in seed capital to establish a state-of-the-art CLIA laboratory, develop a commercial-grade clinical assay, and conduct a prospective double-blind clinical trial known as the Metabolic Autism Prediction (MAP) Study, targeting early identification of ASD in children aged 18–60 months through metabolomic profiling.John’s expertise spans the central nervous system (CNS) landscape, encompassing neuropsychiatric, neurobehavioral, and neurodegenerative conditions.
