Beginning my career as an apprentice for Mercedes Benz heavy goods and spending the working as a recovery tech for Mercedes EVO bus my career took a shift to the rail industry where I have worked for Northern Rail Ltd since 2009. In this time I have held the position of Maintenance technician, Deputy Maintenance teams leader and Manchester Piccadilly Outstation Fitter.My recent career has centred around the CAF Civity fleet. On site fleet liaison engineer for New Build 195/331 trains. This role was based in the Beasain and Zaragoza CAF factories (Spain) and later Newport south Wales supporting the build process in conjunction with Eversholt Rail Group.Presently I hold the position of 195 Fleet Engineer working to improve reliability and maintainability of the class 195's for NTL supporting the contract held with CAF.
