Since 2008 I have aligned myself with leading companies that utilize rebate money to pay for a variety of energy and water conservation products for several types of businesses. In 2019, in addition to working on energy conservation projects that use rebate money to fund them, I began to focus my sales and marketing efforts in a new direction, to include residential home sales, and I aligned myself with the Long Beach branch of Nationwide Real Estate Executives. Current energy-saving programs that I am involved with, and the companies that I represent for those projects are listed here. Southern California Gas Company has recently introduced a NO COST program that offers apartment owners a way to save an estimated 15% on their monthly gas bills by providing for a boiler modulation control that reduces the temperature of water stored in the tank in times of low usage, and then during times of high demand, the device increases the temperature of the water. Southern California Gas Company’s On-Demand Efficiency No-Cost Water Heating Upgrade is still going strong and will remain in effect until the end of 2019. We have done hundreds of projects for apartment owners/management companies since the program began. It is a NO COST program that provides for a controller to be installed in central hot water heaters in apartment buildings, condominium complexes, and student housing that reduces the amount of gas that is consumed to heat the water from 10-30%, saving on your gas bill. It also reduces the amount of time that the pump is spinning from 24 hours a day down to an hour a day, saving on up to 90% on electricity. Thirdly, by having the controller installed, it saves on maintenance, by reducing the amount of wear and tear on the pipes, greatly reducing pin leaks, and it extends the life of the equipment.
