About John Speer

35 years in the Beauty Industry, the last 3 I have owned JEdward Color Studio a davines salon located in Lexington, SC. Prior to owning my salon I worked in an AVEDA Lifestyle Salon for 16 years, during 14 of those years I was an Educator in an out of the salon for AVEDA. In May of 2016 I audition for and successfully completed the Aveda Purefessional Bootcamp for Hair Color. March 9th, 2013 attended and advanced cutting and color training with Geno Chapman and Jimmy Girgenti. July 25th 2011 I assisted Carmen Cutrona in a photo shoot held in our salon. In February 7-8, 2011 I assisted Lupe Voss and Ricardo Dinis at a training held in our salon, by mixing and applying hair color for Lupe Voss. I also attended a class in Charlotte, NC held the following day featuring Lupe Voss and Ricardo Dinis. In October of 2010 I assisted David Adams at a training in the Charlotte, NC area, by applying hair color and styling a model for David Adams. On stage demonstrations of work, including the Real UnPlugged Tour-Charleston in May of 2009. Assistant to Jeffrey Scott at Carmen Congress in February of 2008. Assiting Carmen Cutrona in multiple photo shoots at the Columbia Salon location. Specialties: Hair Color formulation, application, placement as well as corrective hair coloring and styling of hair.
