I love finding ways to engage my desire to build robust, extensible designs and creating solutions that make my/our future life easier. I am a Engineer many years of professional experience leveraging my knowledge of software, computer, networking, electrical, and embedded controls to implement and test systems which help solve complex cross-discipline problems. The team I work on has been instrumental in driving our company goals of data integrity and security. Working with multiple departments to ensure the information we need for day to day operation, as well as generating reports for business and engineering teams, is reliable and accurate. With the processes and systems our team has implemented, we are able to move quickly to provide data they need to give our departments clear line of sight on how to develop and improve their processes and data awareness.Some of the things that I have had my hands in are:* Developing a data transport program to ensure the integrity and security of data from our IOT systems * Work with Tech Services to help troubleshoot issues with our systems in the field, mainly regarding connectivity and networking * Work with Engineering and Business departments to help reduce the amount of data redundancy, while retaining the ability to get the most out of the data we are collecting * Maintain and add features to our UI (electron based) for our Systems that allow customers to interface with our machines in the field * Using Docker to make sure our datalake server is available and has the correct load balancing to be able to handle the traffic from the devices in the field * Create endpoints to collate data from multiple sources and provide WebUIs for reporting * Work with IT to setup and maintain Databases, our internal APT repo, and File Servers * Assist Engineering on testing upgrades to hardware attached to our Systems.
