About John Steele

John Steele is an expert in the financial consumer field with some management experience. John received his Bachelor's in Music Education but started his first job at Universal 1 Credit Union where he learned the principles of the Credit Union philosophy. A philosophy that says when you work hard for people and put their best interest at heart then they will bring more people back to do business with you. John went on to work for Fifth Third Bank as a Relationship Manager where he received some quality bank management experience where he worked for 1.5 years. He then decided to move back to a Credit Union market in 2009 and has been at Wright-Patt Credit Union ever since. Here he has built numerous relationships, developed solid management and problem solving skills, loan training skills, and has been selected to work on numerous other projects and focus groups for the Credit Union. John is a member of the Wellness Committee with Wright-Patt Credit Union since it was developed in 2016. Now he is working in the Mortgage Department as a Mortgage Originator and is a 2018 Dayton Mortgage Banker award winner, 2018 MyCUMortgage award winner, and 2019 Dayton Mortgage Banker award in sales and loan volume.
