I have been working in management for over 20 years. In 2005 I began my career in the Healthcare field. In this role I performed front and back office procedures for a family medicine ambulatory clinic as a MA with a focus on patient care. In 2007 I moved into the role of office manager for this same practice. In this role I was focused on the overall operations of the medical practice including physician credentialing, insurance contracts, lease management, billing and coding, human resources, purchasing, OSHA compliance, HIPAA compliance, issue resolution and the VFC program. In 2010 I transitioned into the Clinical Coordinator role with Heritage Medical Associates, the largest independent multi-specialty physician's group in middle Tennessee with more than 100 physicians and 10 specialties. I helped to further develop OSHA guidelines, implement and update further clinical training and testing for all employees. Manage the clinical float pool staff with an emphasis on continued training and education, I have successfully worked with the floaters to evolve this group into a group of staff that are trained to perform any task in the full multitude of the practice. I have worked with administration, the IT department and business office to help develop and implement standards and guidelines for MU, MU2, CMS, Healthspring and Medicare Advantage. As a core member of the administrative team, I helped in the training and development of our staff in the transition to Allscripts Pro EHR and Allscripts Pro PM. As well as develop and initiate PCMH protocols and procedures including successful registration and acknowledgement by NCQA. In 2014 I transitioned into a site manager role overseeing our largest site of 39 providers and over 100 employees. With this role comes many responsibilities that have allowed for my continued growth and development and afforded me the opportunity to serve on several committees that help shape and further develop the company.
