I am an executive leader and a manager, a director of a division, a project executive, a department manager, a project manager, an engineer, an operator, and a senior naval officer with more than forty years experience in production, licensing, design, construction, project management, and start-up. This broad span has been and continues to be highlighted throughout by exceptional achievement as a non-utility executive, a federal government executive, a commercial utility executive, a manager, an engineer, an US Naval Reserve commanding officer, or an USN senior submarine officer. Recently led a major new nuclear design, licensing, and construction activity to build a $4B nuclear uranium enrichment facility, recruit, hire, and train an internal staff of more than 320, and build a new nuclear business simultaneously. Led three major nuclear weapons waste facilities at the US DOE as a senior executive service member. Led an electric utility as a Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer. Led every major division or department at one or more of 4 major commercial nuclear generating stations. Commanded Naval Reserve units with the rank of Captain. Recently held a US Govt Q level clearance. Specialties: I most recently performed as the nuclear engineering division chief for a federal facility. I have served as the executive leader for initial startup of an entire nuclear company: responsible for facilities, all hiring and staffing, creation of all business and technical processes, procurement of facilities, design, construction, startup and integration testing, regulatory interface, and environmental impact for potentially hazardous nuclear, civil, electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation, as well as integrated information management and process computer system.
