About John Swartz

Through my career, I have enjoyed working with people and building teams, and teaching with a special focus on rapid prototyping, cross-discipline projects, and field deployment of solutions to solve mission-critical, client problems. I have experience in commercial product delivery, but focus on research and development of sensor electronics and systems for remote monitoring, safety, and research applications. I have managing small teams and medium sized R&D groups. I especially enjoy managing and participating in R&D programs with close customer interaction combining new technology, training, and field work. From a technical perspective, I am interested in anything with radios, antennas, lasers, optics, and electronics. Specialties: RF and antennas, digital and analog electronics, microwave electronics, optics, lasers; teaching and training; field research; project planning and management; technical communications.
